Our grid renovation distribution transformers are engineered around three design mandates:

S13-M Series — Drop-in Replacement Efficiency

  • Identical mounting footprint to legacy S9/S11 units (base channel spacing, bushing positions, cable box orientation), enabling same-day replacement with zero civil works modification.
  • No-load loss reduced to 65W (100kVA) vs. 200W for S9 and 150W for S11 — representing a 67% efficiency gain over the S9 fleet still operating in many networks.
  • Amorphous metal core option (S13-M.RL) achieves further no-load loss reduction to ~35W (100kVA) with Metglas 2605SA1 ribbon.

SCB14 Dry-Type — Urban Indoor Retrofits

  • ≤45dB(A) sound pressure level at 1m for units ≤800kVA — compliant with the strictest residential substation noise ordinances.
  • SF6-free, non-flammable cast-resin insulation — eliminates the fire-risk and oil-containment infrastructure required by oil-type transformers in underground/basement substations.
  • Forced air cooling (AF) mode provides 150% overload capacity for 2 hours — critical during summer peak-demand hours in rapidly urbanizing districts.

YBM Box-Type Compact Substations

  • Factory-assembled, pre-tested package: MV switchgear + distribution transformer + LV distribution panel in a single weatherproof enclosure.
  • Low-profile design (≤1.8m height option) for deployment in landscaped areas and pedestrian zones without visual intrusion.
  • Available in both S13 oil-immersed and SCB dry-type configurations.
